Audi, a German automaker on Thursday said that it has started discussion with iPhone maker to implement Apple’s CarPlay in its coming models.
We’ve seen Apple explaining about its CarPlay at Geneva Auto Show a few months back. After Ferrari, Volvo and Mercedes Benz, now Audi comes into the field and intends to integrate Apple’s CarPlay in its upcoming vehicles 2015.
"Our customers want to be 'always on' and use the services they know from their smartphones in cars as well," Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg (Audi board member) said in a release. "In this regard, we are working closely with leading companies like Google and Apple. In the future, customers will be able to use the functions available to them on their smartphones via the operating systems in their cars as well."
So now Audi fans would be glad to know that their coming car will be integrated with their smartphone’s operating system. Users will be able to switch between the different platforms such as iOS and Android.
As the world keeps on moving, our aspects towards life are also changing. So the struggle for getting more won’t be stopped instead it seems to be growing very fast. That’s why Audi is also prepping for the future innovations to give users a new experience.
