It’s been a very small time since the Max Payne games developed for the Mac PC, so here is a swift recap. Max is basically a former undercover cop that whose family members were killed by the cruel mobsters, leaving with an extremely broody demeanor, a fondness for the booze and pain~killers, and a habit of the pumping bullets into the bad and cruel guys in blood~spattered up~close slow~motion.
In the amazing Max Payne 3 for Mac, Max is now doing his duty as a bodyguard for the wealthy Branco family in the Brazil, a job that rapidly finds him drawn into the web of conspiracy and corruption that can only be fixed by shooting lots of the bad and cruel guys in the blood~spattered up~close slow~motion.
Moreover, The Max Payne 3 is a very bloody and violent-based game, and one that must certainly be kept away from the children. It is, anyhow, very dashing and well told, and will definitely appeal to the fans of filmmaker the Quentin Tarantino.
The major innovation of the genuine Max Payne game was the bullet time feature, that decelerates the action and let you pick off goals in slower motion. Along the way, Max chosen up another move called the Shootdodge which allows you to jump via air in slow~motion in the order to avoid the enemy fire-while, why not, still firing off guns at the same time.
Both films are still correct and present in the Max Payne 3, and they remain intact to add the cinematic flair for action. The action can be appallingly bloody at the times, but it feels rather awesome to throw yourself across the room whilst getting off a pair of bad guys.
The game’s full graphics and flat animation lend a cinematic touch to the action, while the Max gives a world~weary voice~over which adds to the film~noir atmosphere. The story gets you to the locations such as seedy hotels and glitzy nightclubs, along with the irregular flashback to the Max’s life back in the New Jersey, and will intact you intrigued via its roughly 12~hour running time.
The graphics violence of the Max Payne 3 for Mac will not be to everyone’s choice, but the game is elegantly presented and will certainly appeal to the Tarantino admirers and the fans of TV programs like the ‘’Sopranos.’’ And the multiplayer mode is entertainment too, and will intact you playing long after the single~player story has ended.
