iMac Force Quit Used to Non-Responding Apps

Apple is a company which made different devices to facilitate people in each aspect differently. iMac is one of its products. It is multi featured device along with heavy processing. IMac force Quit is the feature of its system to quit unresponsive files as you can get the better idea with its name. It allows you to quit that you’re not responding applications by giving the option to quit abruptly without saving these.

This is the main drawback of this function so avoid doing that if you do not want to lose your data. But somehow it becomes necessary in some cases without which you unable to perform your tasks. It became helpful when your system freeze totally and only a restart option is there to treat your device.

iMac force quit is a function to quit unresponsive applications. You should do this when you fail to run these applications because no doubt it is an easy way to get rid of not responding applications but also trouble to you not to save the files latest setting. It allows the application to quit but without saving its updates.

  • To do this for damaged files you need to open the menu list of your iMac to view the presented option there to use. Look down the whole list where you will find an option of force quit.
  • Tap to open this function with your already running files to make it able to view the damages applications.
  • Like in the given picture you will see the force quit option with other applications to run its setup to close the not responding app.
  • Choose the one which creating problems to open or work properly and after that tap the button to force quit this program.
  • To complete the function’s course taps few buttons command + option along with Esc key and keeps holding this formula of buttons to quit the applications. After doing the same process you will not see any more the corrupted application. If you want to quit other applications then follow the same process to close the retort apps.
  • Some drawbacks are under discussion for doing this function like once you select the file to  close it by using iMac force quit then you will unable to store its recent activities or changes made by you. It should not frequently be used due to these side effects.
  • Just follow these steps when you become unable to solve this problem by applying other techniques because it is the last technique is used to quit the open but unresponsive applications.
