When you take logic board out from the iMac then place it aside take away the metal shield from it by bracing it with your hands then fix the ram into its space under the metal shield. After that you have to take metal shield back to its position safely and you can take help from the plastic handles of the logic board while it is going to fix.
Now start the previous process which you have done to opening it and screw back which you have removed before some time. But the position will remain always same. Attached the cables one by one and use your full attention doing that because any little confusion can create a big problem for you and for your iMac. It became a cause to damage the system so be careful.
Once you complete the process to place it inside of its real position then put over its cover on it and screw it. Connect the cables to the iMac and plug in to turn it on. You will see the updates of your new ram by going to its properties and congratulation you successfully done this task to install iMac ram on to your iMac system.
