Normally two bands are working to provide Wi-Fi connections to your devices. The first one is 2.4 GHz or the latest is 5 GHz. Both are good individually but if you are keen to get the best internet connection then you can use the dual band connection of Wi-Fi which gives you the best results that wherever you will be in home, it will provide the best coverage of Wi-Fi even in basement or top of the house.

iMac 5GHz dual band Wi-FiiMac 5 GHz is the best one band if you consider this only, but if you take decision to join both of these then dual band will increase the Wi-Fi speed too much and you will not face any difficulty to brows or to stream things without having issue of range.

Dual Wi-Fi Connection:

Use of iMac 5GHz Wi-FiDual Wi-Fi is the facility for iMac 5 GHz with 2.4 GHz to get the better speed of the internet to finish or to complete your precious office work at home. If you are worried about the low coverage of your Wi-Fi connection then you have to prefer the dual Wi-Fi router from which you can access the both bands at the same time 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. Somehow both are different in processing like 2.4 GHz is good in making connections to other networks via Bluetooth but if you want to send or transfer your data at the same will not be possible through this network because it is unable to transfer files to other network speedily which is easy to 5 GHz. It is also excellent for streaming your favorite programs any time when you wish to watch.

Dual Router:

Dual RouterTo make dual connection you need to have one single router to manage both bands but if your previous router is not sufficient to work with 5 GHz band then you have to buy the new one especially for this connection band. Also you need to confirm about your device either your iMac model will support this latest network or not.

Once you match the processing and compatibility check then you should start to make dual band network by applying a simple procedure. Single router has capacity to interact with other networks you just have to choose the AirPort band of your own choice then your iMac will automatically detect this network of dual router.

Whereas this dual network can also be possible if you have no choice to connect on your previous router, you just need to buy another router for 5 GHz. Once you successfully make dual network of iMac 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz then it will boost your device speed to work and to brows applications in seconds which you will definitely feel while you are using it.
