Here’s a sad news for Apple, one of its great minds has been retired from the company. The man behind the Apple Technology Advancement group, Mr. Brett Bilbrey quits the job after giving twelve years of his life. It’s just a simple retirement, no conspiracy seems to be involved.
He contributed to finalize the design of Apple TV, Mac mini and iSight camera. He has been in Apple’s technology department as a boss for last five years. Mr. Bilbrey shared his views with Network world.
I headed up the Technology Advancement Group, where my teams prototyped many projects for Apple. Of course, nothing that I can speak of. All I can offer about the Technology Advancement Group is that it is focused on forward-looking technology that can be deployed in products
Now, he is free to enjoy the other aspects of life. But, he won’t do so as he has got something that evokes him to move on rather than sitting idle. Well, we also say Goodbye to Mr. Brett Bilbrey.
