The official Mac customers for a very famous music streaming service Spotify have got a new update. The update doesn’t introduce any innovative feature but a totally revamped User Interface. Now, it is more darker, cleaner and elegant.
Let’s have a peek at its new changes, the elements of User Interface are intensely gray and black with rounded graphics, bigger fonts, filtered artworks and minimalistic buttons. Extended font size does not enhance readability instead offers less text to be shown on the display, that results into some empty spaces to be seen here & there. Moreover, the metaphors of buttons have become ambiguous as they are difficult to understand. For instance, an eminent Share button was swapped with inscrutable three dots. So, they aren’t intuitive but a clear label.
Other modifications include circular avatars with a simpler appearance which is much similar to the Android’s Interface. This update might be irritating for many users but gradually they will get used to it. One thing which they surely will like is its revamped appearance, thanks to the developers who did a good job bringing such a new design.
Spotify wasn’t announced this updated version for Mac & PC officially, but this time, they make it possible for Mac and PC.
