The VMware regularly promotes its Fusion virtual desktop client to support the major operating systems, in order to maintain that specific tradition the VMware releases Fusion 6 for Mac.
The new Mac app is well optimized for the OS X Maverick’s the most important features, comprising a reworked full screen mode which plays nicely with the multiple displays.
The software is equally ready for the Windows 8.1 virtual machines, and allows the users to place shortcuts for the Windows Store Apps in a Mac’s Dock or folder.
There is also fine tuning for the Haswell based Macs, an easy setup support and assistance for the virtual machines with up to the 16 processors and 64GB RAM. The Fusion 6 professional users get some business friendly upgrades, such cloned machines and expiring virtual machines that link back to master the copies.
The both variants of Fusion 6 are accessible today, though pricing has amplified significantly since the Fusion 5. It costs only $60 for stand alone purchase of the Fusion 6, and for the professional edition it costs $130.
Anyone who purchases Fusion 5 between the 1st August and 30th September can get the latest version for free of cost, they will otherwise have to pay $50 (standard copy) or $70 ( professional copy) to stay on the cutting edge.
