It looks Apple is finally showing interest to upgrade its desktop family, Mac Mini and iMac. The sources close to the news suggest that Apple might hold an event to launch a ‘’Mid-2014 27-inch iMac’’ and a ‘’Mid-2014 Mac Mini’’.
It’s Apple Support Page that makes us believe this story. There you see ‘’ iMac (27-inch, Mid 2014)’’ listed on the top when it comes to iMac section meaning Apple is about to upgrade its desktop lineup soon. But now, the page has been updated with no 27in mid-2014 iMac. Perhaps, it could be a mistake of typing or Apple wants to keep it concealed inside the walls.
It’s been near about 2 years since Apple updated Mac Mini in 2012 and now it is also crying for a refresh. It packed a 2.5GHz Dual-Core Intel i5 processing unit, 4GB RAM and 500GB of storage. According to the inside sources, the new Mac mini will be having better specs than its predecessor. Design wise, it seems there won’t be any change but few think it’ll be changed a bit.
We can’t say anything for sure when Apple will be updating its desktop lineup. So, take this post as a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed by the company so far.
