The next generation of the Apple’s Mac operating system, the Apple’s OS X Mavericks 10.9, will be launched later than the genuinely expected and is recently due in the late October, different media outlets reported on the Friday.
Citing the sources familiar with the Cupertino, California based tech giants release plans, the Mark Gurman of the 9to5Mac stated that the news comes despite speculation that the OS X Mavericks would be launched alongside the iOS 7 the termination of the month.
Recently, the new and latest mobile operating system is estimated to become accessible alongside iPhone 5S and 5C later on this month, but there’s speculation that its release might also be pushed back until the October, he added.
Although a firm Mavericks release date might not be learned, it is possible that the Apple could plan to ship the OS after the next reports earnings, something it did with the both OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion 2011,’’ All Things D’s John Packowski speculated. He said that the new OS release could also debut alongside the firm’s new desktop product, comprising the forthcoming iMacs, MacBook Pros and Mac Pro that come with the Intel’s Haswell processors.
The Apple had never formally confirmed an exact or accurate date for the launch of the OS X Mavericks 10.9, only committing to the fall 2013 release window, according to the Darrell Etherington of the TechCrunch. Clearly, the October would still fall within that release window, but as the CNET’s Don Reisinger puts stress that the company hasn’t committed to the official date.
‘’The Mavericks gets an improved Finder, enhanced multimonitor support, separate iBooks app, and better power management to the OS X powered Macs,’’ the Etherington said. ‘’ The Developers using a preview claim that the new builds feel very firm, though few like the latest version is a minor step backwards over the previous launch. Either way, few had understood its constancy as the sign of impending launch, but these new and latest reports suggest that the users will be waiting a little bit longer.’’
The Apple is set to host a particular event next Tuesday. While some latest iPhones are estimated to be the main focus of that event, the Reisinger thinks that it’s possible that the Apple might announce info about the Mavericks and other devices as well. The Mavericks was officially proclaimed in the June and is recently in a beta testing process.
