Apple on Monday released OS X v10.9.4 update to resolve Wi-Fi network issue and includes Safari v7.0.5. It also fixes the issue that happens when your Mac wakes from sleep mode.
The OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 is now available for download via Apple’s Software Update pane in the Mac App Store. Apple recommends this new update to all the users of Mavericks OS as it improves compatibility, security and stability of Mac systems.
Here’s what this new update comprises:
- Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
- Fixes issue causing the background or Apple logo to appear incorrectly on startup
- Improves the reliability of waking from sleep
- Includes Safari 7.0.5
For your information, the OS X v10.9.4 received only two betas before the final release on Monday. The first beta was seeded to the developers at the end of May.
We aren’t seeing any major update coming to Mavericks in upcoming days because Apple is prepping to roll out its all-new OS X Yosemite later this year.
