After hearing lots of rumors and speculations, we finally see Apple announcing its annual WWDC event on 2nd June at San Francisco, which will last for 5 days ending on 6th June. This is important as all of its competitors have introduced their flagship devices. So, the pressure is on Apple now as it has to be more innovative and exclusive to stay in the game.
Sources close to the news suggest that this conference will be the most important for the tech world and could be a game changer. Apple is also well aware of its competitors as they’ve released one of the cutting-edge devices for 2014. So, Apple would like to go ahead of them. But, it’s not a right time for Apple’s next flagship device as this event will largely cover its application development for iOS and OS X platforms. Tough, we might get a little hint for its upcoming lineup.
"Every year the WWDC audience becomes more diverse, with developers from almost every discipline you can imagine and coming from every corner of the globe. We look forward to sharing with them our latest advances in iOS and OS X so they can create the next generation of great apps," Philip Schiller (Apple’s senior marketing executive) said.
Apple’s main focus would be on iOS and OS X apps as there’ll be around 1,000 Apple engineers present to offer more new ideas. The goal is to provide more innovations to its customers.
