At the start of this month, Apple released its first security lock adaptor for Mac Pro (late-2013). The new hardware is designed to protect users’ valuable device from tampering and theft.
It is priced at $49 and compatible with most 3rd party Kensington locks available on Apple Online Store. The adapter clamps on the Mac Pro’s aluminum case allowing access to all cutouts and power cord. One end will be attached to your machine while the other one to a solid point you think will go better. You can use a 3rd party lock to affix it to a rock-solid thing.
Here is the product description mentioned on Apple web page;
The Mac Pro Security Lock Adapter lets you use a compatible Kensington or similar style third-party lock (sold separately) to keep your Mac Pro secure. The adapter attaches without tools and does not modify or damage the Mac. With a compatible lock connected, the Mac Pro Lock Adapter secures the housing to the enclosure, preventing access to internal components.
